Copenhagen- Rushed agreements better than none at all?

Hey again everyone!

Wondering what you think of this one: Are we better off with the agreements made in the Copenhagen accord which were rushed and ambiguously worded, rather than no agreement at all? Would it have been more detrimental or more beneficial to the agreements if governments had waited six months for another meeting before making final decisions?

Copenhagen achieved more bad than good in my opinion. No real concrete deal but it's taken the heat off governments for a while. I felt like shouting at the telly when brown said it wasn't enough but it was a first step. Surely Kyoto was the first step? (Just so nobody makes this about party politics i wouldnt trust the others to do any better. Except maybe green but sadly that may never be).
If no agreement had been made then pressure on the carbon giants of the world would still be mounting.
