"All the previous comments are so true, but i'm tempted to say a bad democracy. Even though a dictator may improve the wellbeing of the people, the people feel as if they are being dictated to and in a lot of cases this causes personal unrest.…"

"I think that the arts can raise awareness of issues such as Haiti and that is positive, however, films about sensitive issues such as 9/11 can encourage racial tension and lead the public to live I'm fear of something like that reocurring."

I'm writing up my WHRN article for the sight and wondered if anyone would mind to help me a bit? I just wanted to know what global issues (everything from war/famine/poverty to terrorism/globalisation/democracy) you can think of in the arts? e.g. a film about blood diamonds or a song raising money for Haiti. Cheers!See More

Environment ministers and officials will meet in Denmark for the United Nations climate conference with one aim - to get something to succeed the Kyoto protocol of 1998 in an attempt to tackle climate change.The conference will run for two weeks.
