World Cup in south Africa. The Refs maybe fair but what about the government?

Its under two weeks till the FIFA World Cup begins. As you probably know, this year, for the first time, it is being held in South Africa and you might have heard of all the preparations which are going on in the country. One of which is disgraceful.

Bangladesh - is there any hope?

Think Bangladesh, and instantly the mind conjures up images of cyclones, floods and poverty. It is undeniable that Bangladesh is continually presented as a country of disaster to the rest of the global community. Nonetheless, to dismiss an entire nation as a hotbed of trouble and hopelessness only causes more damage. Bangladesh is in fact fighting to improve its economic status; the country still has much development potential.

Poverty in the UK, it's a real thing.

When I speak to most people about poverty I ask them where they think of when I say poverty. They say places like Africa and India, but very few people actually name places in the UK. I'd like to clarify that people in the UK are not by any means more important as those who live in other nations with poverty, but it is a very real thing in our country.
