Clicks,Conspiracy theories & Vegans @ COP 15

Day 2:
We got up at around 9, started off the day slightly relaxed but then got into some editing, uploading and processing content from the 21 hour day we had yesterday. We did that till around 3, at which point we decided to head out to the Bella Centre to check out the situation around the conference.

On the way to the Metro we bumped into a slightly bizzare but crowd stopping absailing stunt. A man was absailing down the side of the French embassy over a peak emissions placard. We had a brief talk with a few people there and looked at a few installations around the square.

When we arrived at the Bella Centre we weren’t expecting much because it was getting a bit late, but we were actually pleasantly surprised when we found loads of activists, police, and slight chaos outside. It was also freezing cold, and these people had been standing here all day, yet they still manage to talk to us enthusiastically about their beliefs and way of life in relation to climate change.
After spending about 2 hours there, we headed to Mary Otto-Chang’s apartment. She was a consultant to UNICEF on climate change and young people, and had invited us for dinner and a chat about what she does. It was long but interesting day....
